The Critters on the farm
The newest additions to the farm are our 3 horses,
Davinci, Missy, and Lady. They are fine, well-behaved
animals. I have had horses most of my life and found
living without them to be really boring!
You know about the goats and horses, but
how about the Chickens???
Chickens are so much fun to watch! They waddle
around with their furry fat thighs and peck the
ground. I could watch chickens forever. Mamma
chickens act like little hovercraft for chicks to run in
and out from under. But best of all, they give the
most wonderful tasting eggs in the world. Here at
Spencer's Farm, we try to keep about 2 dozen
laying hens all the time.
We like to have visitors
The farm is easy to find, once you get directions. We
are far enough off the beaten path that the average
GPS unit can't find us. In fact, there are times I am
not sure the sunshine doesn't need a map!
The farm consists of 20 acres nestled into a
charming little hollow about halfway between Taft and
Fayetteville, TN. Call for an appointment to visit.
